How I use it
Every backend I ship is containerised so it runs the same on my machine, in CI and in production. I bring in Kubernetes when a system has several services that need scaling independently; for a single service, a managed container platform is less to operate.

Questions clients ask about Docker and Kubernetes
- Do I need Kubernetes?
- Probably not yet. One or two services run fine on a managed container service. Kubernetes earns its complexity when you have many services with different scaling needs.
